Our Story
J.W. Poole Inc. is a family owned and operated full service mechanical contractor specializing in commercial HVAC for new or existing properties. The company was started and incorporated in June of 1989 with Joe Poole as President and his wife Mary Ann as Secretary and Treasurer. When Joe started the company he already had 15 years of experience in the field of HVAC. Joe started working in 1974 for Allied Conditioning in Metuchen, N.J. in the sales and estimating department and stayed with the company until starting J.W. Poole Inc.
Joseph Poole IV started working in 1999 and is now Vice President of J.W. Poole Inc. He is in charge of field operations, sales and management. His wife Rachel is working in the office alongside Mary Ann and manages bookkeeping.
Josh Poole started working at J.W. Poole, Inc. in 2004, after graduating from Rutgers University, and is in charge of estimating, sales, and project management.
Joe and Mary Ann's son in law also came to work for the company and is currently working in the field.
Today, J.W. Poole’s personnel along with Joe have over 40 years of knowledge and experience in the HVAC field. This family expansion is setting the stage for the future and proves just how committed our company is to meeting the needs of its customers.

To better reach our objective, we have expanded both our estimating and marketing departments and completed system upgrades.
